We were honored to host a delegation from Vitebsk State Medical University (VSMU), the premier university for English Medium medical education in Belarus, during their visit to Sri Lanka. The main objective of this visit was to foster stronger ties between Sri Lanka and VSMU by exploring collaborative research and student exchange programs.
VSMU, the pride of Belarus, currently has 750+ Sri Lankan students studying at its prestigious institution. With over 300 doctors who graduated from VSMU practicing medicine in Sri Lanka and worldwide, the university’s impact is truly global. The exceptional performance of VSMU students in the ERPM/ACT16 program earned them the top rank in the ERPM examination in 2022 and the 2nd rank in February 2023.
