In August, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Yuri Yakovlevich Rodionov turned 85 years old. Yuri Yakovlevich was born in 1937 in the village of Nayahan of the North Evena district of the Far Eastern Krai in the family of a soldier. In 1961, he graduated from the Vitebsk Medical Institute with distinctions and was hired at the VGMI, where from 1961 to 1996, he went from being a graduate to the head of the department. Since 2001 to the present day Yu. I am. Rodionov holds the position of a professor in the Department of Pathological Physiology. Yuri Yakovlevich successfully combines pedagogical and scientific activities.
The results of its scientific research are used in various laboratories in France, Brazil, Romania, Germany, USA, other countries and are included in the International Guide to Fibrinolysis and Antifibrinolysis. His research was the basis for the development of technical documentation equipment for measuring blood pressure in intact small laboratory animals by the Hewlett-Packard group. In 1983 Yu. I am. Rodionovs have received priority certificate for the invention of an Artificial Heart, which outlines basic requirements for ensuring physiological characteristics close to the natural heart.
Yuri Yakovlevich has mastered, modified and published more than 50 research methods and 240 scientific papers, many of which were the first in the Soviet and global scientific community. Y. I am. Rodionov regularly delivers reports at scientific conferences at the regional, republican and international level.
