I’m Vitharshan. Old boy of St. John’s College, Jaffna. Currently studying MBBS in Quest International University Perak (QIUP) Malaysia. The reason why I choose Quest is, they have clinical based teaching from the first year itself. Their Curriculum is similar to our srilankan MBBS curriculum. Fees also very much affordable when comparing with other universities in Malaysia. The University has experienced lectures and professors with more than 40 years of experience in the medical field. University is also having state of art medical equipment and laboratories. Another highlighting feature of our Uni is Mentor – Mentee system, which mean a lecture will be assigned to personally monitor the progress of a student and give valuable advices to the students to ensure that we they are on the right tract. All the staffs, Lectures and Professors are friendly with us. We also have the opportunity to directly contact our lectures and professors through WhatsApp to clear our doubts in subjects.
At the beginning I was confused in selecting the university during the pandemic time, so I contacted IMC Education. Mr.Amila, Deputy CEO of IMC helped me to select the right university as per my budget and aspirations. He did all the application procedures and document submission. He is a very responsible person. Never made a single mistake in my application procedure. Finally, he helped me to secure a seat in Quest.
